12 electronically generated predefined rhythm patterns can be played at various speeds. A circular disk is divided radially into 48 sections to create the rhythms, the 10 different combinations of sounds being triggered by contact points in five concentric circles, and read by a rotating comb. The sounds are generated by the tube generators in accordance with the pattern selected.
